Here are some items that accompany me on each hike big or small. I have also provided a brief review.Happy trails!

Easily one my best purchases thus far for my pack. Considering the price point and weight it is a must have for any camper or backpacker. I have personally carried this saw and would suggest it to friends and family alike.

I searched far and wide for a rock solid bushcrafting knife. Trouble was the price of the blades I kept finding. They all seemed out of reach. I had just about 200 dollars to spend, so you could imagine my excitement when I came across a quality knife from a company such as Benchmade. It met the price requirement I had set, the quality level I needed, and it came with a high quality leather sheath that accepted my fire steel! It holds a great edge and in my opinion is a great buy. I have used it to process fire wood with a baton and strike a fire steel, never leave home without it!

Easily my favorite tool thus far! I was so excited when I found this because of the 20 degree angle guides. I have always struggled with maintaining that perfect angle while sharpening. This is small and takes the guess work out of it. It also literally contains everything you need. Rough diamond, fine diamond, ceramic rods of varying types, Even a leather side for stropping! Best 45 Bucks I have ever spent on field gear!
